Unable to find a suit I liked and fitted me locally, I thought what could go wrong. There is a perfect fit guarantee, so it's bound to come out alright in the end. Wrong!
Despite getting both daughter and wife to take the measurements independently, the suit fitted badly. Trousers were tight in all sorts of places, and the jacket sleeves 2 inches too long. I immediately reported this and agreed to pay a further £10 to receive a remade pair of trousers, as there was not sufficient material to let them out. I carefully photographed a pair of trousers that fitted me well, showing all the key measurements by using a tape measure in the picture. Despite this, the second pair of trousers were way too wide in the leg and nothing like the measurements supplied.
But at least they were big and surely I could get one useable set from the two pairs of trousers I now had. I went to a local alterations shop who agreed there was no hope for the first pair, ven the second pair would result in a much reduced pocket and still be slightly baggy, and the jacket would also look a little odd, as they would have to lose some of the buttons and vent from the sleeve.
I decided to go ahead anyway; the guarantee would cover the cost of the alterations. The alterations shop were right, although it fits better, the suit is far from perfect and not one I would wear and feel smart in. Probably OK for days when it is raining heavily or snowing - at least it would save my good suits from being ruined.
Next surprise was when I submitted my claim. I spent £39 on the alterations but was only offered a credit note for £30. Apparently I had to claim within 7 days of receipt (my first notification of the faults was well within that) but as they had already dealt with a claim this was the best they could do. What happened to a perfect fit guarantee!
In the meantime I went to M&S (wouldn't previously be seen dead in one of their suits but needs must). They allow mix & match of jackets, so could find a jacket in a size to fit my shoulders and chest with trousers to fit my slimmer waist (I'm not a freak, just do exercise). Near perfect solution!
To those who were lucky to get the right fit the first time - congratulations. To those thinking about it - DON'T!!

The company is real but the suit is low quality. You don't really get the benefit of the global manufacturing in the price, only the low quality tailoring.
Unfortunately, tailor4less has a policy to challenge negative reviews and has them remvoed from websites such as trustpilot. As such, please be aware there are a lot more negative review out there that are taken down and so the highly positive statistics do not tell the full story. To keep them up you have to be a verified customer - this means allowing the company (one which has your address and credit card details) to be able to identify you and most customers are not willing for this to happen.

well, i love t4l, they gave me this secure feeling of feeling awesome, after i bought my coat from them, i felt like a god, i ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! i say this to you as a friend, you have to buy yourself some affordable elegance dude! it's necessary of fitting in, in this community! the most amazing thing is, it costs no money shipping it, and it is guaranteed your clothes after 15-17 days, it gives me the feeling that their stabile, great!!

Thank you Tailor4less for being such a great company and awesome!!!

Regarding shirts and ties I can't but recommend this site. My experience is superb. You just have to take your time on taken your measures VERY carefully the first time you buy and then everything is very easy.

I am one of those people who hate going shopping. Therefore, Tailor4Less is a great option to buy my clothes online. Taking my own measurements seemed as a big deal at the beginning but it’s quite easy. I had some doubts and I contacted their customer service and they were very helpful. Recommended!

They offer a huge range of customization options so basically you can create your own suit. I would say there are too many options ( I am not a fashion victim) ;)

In my experience, shipping was on time (12 days).. it even came earlier. I did not contact customer service so I cannot give any opinion regarding their after sales support

1. The coat I bought from them was dog awful. Poor quality, poor fit, and they wouldn't offer a refund. In fact, they were incredibly rude to me about it. A disgrace.

2. A few weeks after I received my order, I was sent a bill from DHL for import tax! Tailor4less didn't pay the import tax and instead passed the bill onto me, didn't mention this at the point of sale, so I had no choice but to pay an additional £25. When I asked Tailor4less about it, they would only offer me a credit with them! As if I'd want to buy anything else from them!

They essentially stole from me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Beware of suit4less! when you ordered your suits their customer service is brilliant but when the suits arrived too big or small which needs alteration they disappear.

I ordered two suits from tailor4less but the cuts and fabric of the 2nd suits are horrible. Alteration cost me 49 euros but tailor4less is willing to refund only 10 (beware of their slogan 'satisfaction guaranteed-free alteration. That is untrue in my case).

My tailor told me the suits are totally out of proportion and would cost up to 100 euros for alteration of jacket and trousers.

In my opinion, H&M or Topman can offer you better quality than this website and most importantly they offer refund without any question asked. Plus, Topman and H&L answer your emails whereas tailor4less only answers those they want to answer.

Great Value for money!

I ordered a suit for around $220 as I choose some options. It came in 12 days (fastest I have seen) and it fits perfectly.

It is not a $800 suit, but I have not find similar suits for $200!

I ordered my first suit from T4L this summer. I ordered a two-button suit and selected the Elba grey fabric. My wife helped measure me. It arrived in a little more than two weeks. The shipping was free. The pants fit like glove but the jacket was way too short and the sleeves needed to be taken out. In all honesty these problems were a product of the measuring of my wife and I. So T4L gave me $50 towards the tailoring (they credit it to the credit account you use for the purchase). But the tailor could not lengthen the jacket. I contacted T4L on their website and they agreed to give me a free second jacket so long as I paid the $25 in shipping. I actually changed the design a little (I switched to peak lapels). They even offered to give me another $35 credit if the second jacket (which I got for free) didn't fit perfectly. I sent many messages to them over their website and they would respond within hours each time. It was a very good purchasing experience. So all in all they gave me $50 for tailoring and a $164 jacket for free.

As for the quality, my suit cost $279. It was a little more because the Elba fabric is a 180s fabric. So you are buying a $200-$300 suit, not a $2,000 to $3,000 suit. I am a young suburban attorney, not someone who works in a huge NYC firm or on Wall St. For me the quality is great, I could totally wear it to client meetings, depositions or Court.

The best way to put it is the quality is similar to a $200-$300 off-the-rack suit from JABank, BB factory store or Macy's. The difference is the fit. I checked my suit when it arrived with a measuring tape. All the measurements are exactly what I provided. Like I said the pants fit like a glove and the second jacket is perfect in the shoulders.

So the best way to describe the quality I feel is that it is comparable to a $200-$300 Macy's suit (Alfani, CK, Kors), but the fit is 100 times better than an off-the-rack suit.

T4L is totally worth it for people in that price range. For those with more money and more of a need to "dress the part" and wear a high end suit, this is not for you.

Be careful! Do NOT order with tailor4less! They charge you 155 Euros for clothes and later you have to pay another 60-80 Euros for transport (which was supposed to be free of charge), tax and VAT!

I also have had a bad experience. After ordering two pairs of trousers the first is of a terrible quality with the lining finishing at my knees and the second pair are such a shiny material that I thought I had returned to the 1980's! The pictures on site do not replicate at all what you end up with. Great website with clear instructions however you must avoid this company at all costs.

I will keep writing bad reviews for these people every single night because I don't want anyone to go through what I am gone through. Had I read honest review about them, I wouldn't have thrown away 300$. Do not order something from these cons, for no reason in the world. They are a bunch of robbers, who steal your money and send you a piece of trash. This is how they work: You go on their nice web site and order something. Until you order, they have the best customer service in the world. after that, they disappear. After a few weeks, they send you the worst piece of trash you can imagine. It is bad material, it totally doesn't fit you, it is definitely made for someone else and not you, you can make no use of it whatsoever. It is nothing what you were promissed, or what you saw on their web site. Then they disapear and there is no way you can reach them. After a while, they write you saying: take pictures and measures of the suit, and send them to us, send the suit to us, then we fix it and send it to you. do not fall for that, it is just a way to make you so frustrated, that you let the matter be.

I was so disappointed about the quality of the shirts that I trow them away immediately. I never saw such poor finshing. The collar was so thin that it was impossible to use the shirt with tie.!!!
The trousers were finish so cheaply as well.....
154 Euros trown in the rubbish......

Tailor4less are a sham company they have ripped me off twice , I am £230 down and left with such a shoddy suit i would be embarrased to give it away to the local charity shop. They are happy to take your money . But if anything goes wrong (and it will) They do not respond to E-Mails and dont wont to know. AVOID PEOPLE!

This is the worse product I have ever bought on line. After not satisfying my order Tailor4Less said they would fix it the next time if I bought another suit -- this time at a discount. Boy was I ever ripped off. The second time was even worse than the first. Not only did they not do as agreed & I paid extra for, they didn't even use the fabric I order and confirmed with them a second time by e-mail. Tailor$Less stopped communicating with me when I complained. After I tried to get their attention on Facebook, Tailor4Less "de-friended me." I can't speak about other custom tailors on line, but the advise I would offer anyone is this: Avoid this Tailor4Less at all cost. The products are of poor quality: they are made with poor quality fabric and the workmanship looks like it was done be an apprentice working on his or her first project. Don't believe their ads, don't believe these people at all.

Lots of options, great value for money!

I had no problem with shipping and/ or customs. It seems that they pay for all customs now!!

Styles are sufficient and measurements quite easy. Quality of fabric not exciting but good enough for everyday use. Suites fit after minor adjustments. Customs, however, is an issue. Taylor4less specifies an unrealistic low purchasing price so that the customer needs to provide invoice and payment documentation to customs. That’s annoying. Duties and taxes itself then add a significant amount to the original price. In Germany, e.g., that’s an additional 50%!

this looked better than I expected. for a customize product, the delivery was quick. And lots of choice

nice website, good configurator :)
