This yoga mat is completely useless. The material is VERY VERY slippery. I couldn't even hold the first downdog of class in an UNHEATED studio. I ended up flipping it over for the one class in which I used it- then my hands didn't slip but the whole mat slipped on the wooden floor. That is dangerous!

I received a gift card to yogamatic for my birthday, and had a negative experience right off the bat. I had to call customer service three times to even get their site to accept the giftcard code - but it all seemed worth it when the gorgeous mat arrived. Then I actually tried using it. HUGE waste of money. I see that someone else who complained was advised to use a towel over the mat.... what is point of having a beautiful graphic on there if you have to cover it with a towel??

Very disappointing

I was gifted one of these custom yoga mats recently and you should know that these are not a good choice for you if you sweat. I do hatha low intesity yoga and because of the slippery graphic on the mat, the sweat for my palms makes me slip right off the mat. I am not even a heavy sweater. When I contacted the company they sent me back a canned response and were no help. Basically, I am left with a useless, but pretty, mat!
